[12 Volt Mods] MFD Adapter for 2018+ WRX 5.9" display into cars with 4.3" MFD

Description

This adapter allows for installation of the 2018+ WRX style 5.9" display into cars factory-equipped with the 4.3" MFD.  Compatibility includes 2015-17 WRX, 2014-18 Forester, and 2014-17 Levorg models.  I make no guarantee that all features carryover for every specific vehicle. (e.g. boost gauge will show vacuum pressure on non-turbo cars)
Purchase is for the adapter ONLY, no display included.  New displays are quite pricey, best way to get one is from partout yards either locally or here on eBay.
These use the same OEM connectors as the vehicle for a perfect, reliable connection and the wires are wrapped in felt tape to reduce the chance of rattling in the dash.  They are hand assembled right here in Ohio.
Do note that if your backup camera is displayed on the MFD, you will have to reroute it for the swap.  The updated display does not have a reversing camera input.
It does however have front and side camera inputs.  The adapter variations with these include an RCA video jack and 12" leads for power and ground, to be used with a universal/aftermarket camera.  The display puts out 6v power so be sure to choose a camera that works with 6 volts, some require a minimum of 12v.  I have had success with the Crimestopper CAM-400 model as a side cam in my personal car and front cam in another vehicle.
If you have no interest in the extra camera inputs, purchase the standard adapter.
