    1947 Playgoer Magazine for That's the Way Women Are
    At the Las Palmas Theatre, California
    Undated, 5.75" x 8.5", 40 pages. Hand-dated Nov. 22, 1947 on the back cover. Playbill for the Intimate Opera Players in "That's the Way Women Are (Cosi Fan Tutte)" by Mozart, liberetto by Lorenzo Da Ponte, English translation by George and Phyllis Mead. The musical director was Jan Popper. The cast included Olive Mae Beach, Beta Popper, Marjorie Dickinson, James Schwabacher, Theodor Uppman, and Joel Carter.
    Also in this issue, an article on J.M. Sonny" Edwards, the custodian and doorman at the Biltmore Theatre.
    Condition is very good: Generally clean contents, light foxing, binding secure, rubbing and foxing to the covers, owner's name and date on the back cover.

    How I Pack:
    Most books are packed in boxes with appropriate packing material. Thin volumes and ephemera are mailed in envelopes with stiffeners. Records are mailed in industry-standard cardboard mailers. All items are packed to withstand normal abuse during transportation.
