The outer material is metal that has some paint that has flaked off over time. The Carpretta's sign is glass and has no chips or cracks. The Capretta's sign turns red when is turned on and is in nice working condition. Writing on back says "This display is for use only on the premises of licensed liquor dealer." Clock is sold as is. please study pictures and feel free to ask any questions.
