This classic, unmolested 1974 Lincoln Continental Cartier Mark IV appears to be taken directly from a time-capsule. It is a superb example of this luxury coupe that has spent its entire life with one family. The odometer reads 55,088 actual miles and the original window sticker and Owners Manual are included in the sale. Look at the photos - this beautiful Lincoln utilizes the long hood/deck configuration that was prominent for this generation of luxury coupes. The original Black finish w/dark red pinstripping and matching black vinyl top w/opera windows are in very good condition. Inside, the original Black leather interior shows virtually no wear. This Continental is equipped with Auto-Temp Control air conditioning, AM/FM/cassette stereo, Cartier clock, tilt wheel, cruise and remote mirrors. Additional power features include 6-way front seats, power tinted windows and power door locks/trunk release. Horsepower is provided by the factory 460ci '385 Series' V8 - never rebuilt and still running just fine. It is backed by Ford's Select-Shift 3-speed C-6 automatic, one stout transmission. The fifth-generation Lincoln Continental is body-on-frame construction - the first Lincoln to do so since 1957. It is equipped with coil springs at all four corners and fitted with power steering and 'Sure Track' power disc/drum brakes (11.7"f/11"r). Factory steel wheels w/full wheel covers mount Hankook Optimo whitewall radials. There are few of these classic Continental Coupes around today - fewer still in this original conditional.
