Description

It is used in poisonings of various origins: poisoning, alcohol intoxication, intestinal infections, food poisoning, indigestion, diarrhea syndrome, dysbacterioses, irritable bowel syndrome, food and drug allergy, toxic and infectious liver disease, hepatic and renal failure, septic-purulent processes, thermal disease in the phase of intoxication, toxemia of pregnant women and others
Indications for use
In adults and children as a detoxifying agent:
acute and chronic intoxication of various origins;
acute poisoning with strong and poisonous substances, including medicines and alcohol, alkaloids, heavy metal salts;
acute intestinal infections of any genesis as part of complex therapy (toxicoinfections, salmonellosis, dysentery, diarrheal syndrome of non-infectious origin, dysbacteriosis);
purulent-septic diseases accompanied by severe intoxication, as part of complex therapy;
food and drug allergies;
hyperbilirubinemia (viral hepatitis) and hyperazotemia (chronic renal failure);
in order to prevent chronic intoxication to employees of harmful industries (professional intoxication with chemical agents of polytropic action, xenobiotics, incorporated radionuclides, lead, mercury, arsenic compounds, petroleum products, organic solvents, nitrogen oxides, carbon oxides, fluorides, heavy metal salts).
Contraindications
Individual intolerance to the drug, intestinal atony.
Use during pregnancy and during breastfeeding
Enterosgel ® is not contraindicated during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
Method of administration and dosage
Enterosgel ® paste is taken orally 1-2 hours before or after eating or taking other medications, washed down with water.
It is recommended to stir the amount of the
Enterosgel
necessary for taking in a glass in a triple volume of water at room temperature or take it orally with water.
Dosage for adults: 15 g-22.5 g (1-1.5 tablespoons) 3 times a day.
The daily dose is 45 g-67.5 g.
Children aged 5 to 14 years – 15 g (1 tablespoon) 3 times a day.
The daily dose is 45 g.
Children under the age of 5 years – 7.5 g (0.5 tablespoons) 3 times a day.
The daily dose is 22.5 g.
Infants are recommended to mix 2.5 g (0.5 teaspoon) of the Enterosgel
in a triple volume of breast milk or water and give it before each feeding (6 times a day).
For the prevention of chronic intoxication – 22.5 g 2 times a day for 7-10 days monthly. In case of severe intoxication during the first three days, the dose of the Enterosgel
can be doubled.
Duration of treatment for acute poisoning is 3-5 days, and for chronic intoxication and allergic conditions is 2-3 weeks. Repeat the course on the recommendation of a doctor.
Side effect
Nausea and constipation are possible. With severe renal and / or hepatic insufficiency, a feeling of aversion to the Enterosgel may appear.
Overdose
No cases of overdose were detected.
