    Description

    Week beginning June 17, 1945 Imperial Theatre (NYC) Playbill for the operetta
    Song of Norway,
    based on the life and music of Edvard Grieg, with Grieg's music adapted by Robert Wright and George Forrest and Lawrence Brooks as Grieg.  The show opened August 21, 1944 and ran for just over two years.
    Text pages are securely bound and clean through the text body with very faint browning in the borders.  Covers are mildly soiled with minor corner wear.  Front has a quarter-inch tear in the bottom edge, and there are corresponding nicks in half a dozen subsequent pages.  There is also a pencil notation of the date on the front cover.
