on 03/30/46 and ran for 113 performances.  The cast includes The Nicholas Brothers (Harold and Fayard), Pearl Bailey, Rex Ingram, Ruby Hill, June Hawkins, Juanita Hall, Robert Pope, Elwood Smith, Louis Sharp, Maude Russell, Creighton Thompson, Milton J. Williams, Milton Wood, Carrington Lewis, J. Mardo Brown, Lorenzo Fuller and Royce Wallace
.  Music by Harold Arlen, lyrics by Johnny Mercer and book by Arna Bontemps and Countee Cullen (based on the novel God Sends Sunday by Arna Bontemps).  Directed by James Rouben Mamoulian and choreographed by Charles Walters.
Also includes an insert from the Capitol Records Album CE-28 with lyrics from 11 of the songs from the show.  The
program is complete.

CONDITION:
I use a six-step condition scale to describe the overall paper quality:  Mint, Excellent, Very Good, Good, Fair, Poor.  Good means just that:  desireable for a collection with no immediate need to upgrade.  Excellent and Mint are usually reserved for publisher and music store remainders.  Expect Good-minus and Fair to have considerable wear.  All specific condition faults are noted after the general condition.
