This is an aftermarket Plastic Mount and Demount Head Fits on many Early model COATS
®*
tire changers with a non tapered plunger shaft.
This is for machines with plastic mount demount heads already. Using plastic mount heads is much safer for delicate and expensive wheels yet durable enough to withstand the stress of larger tires and wheels. If your machines has a metal head and you want to change it to plastic please see our other listings to for the head with adapter bracket. See below for a full list of all tire machines this head fits. This head is made to bolt to the adapter bracket that goes on the end of the plunger that lowers the head to the tire.
